Sonoran Seasons is proud to partner with Vilardi Gardens in offering open-pollinated heirloom vegetable seedlings for home gardens and small farms. Seeds are sourced from all-natural growers; they're grown right here in Phoenix per organic principles, using high-grade OMRI-approved soils and amendments and no artifical chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We're proud of our starts, and our goal is to see every single one of them find a lovely home.
We're currently selling to the public via Root Phoenix and Roadrunner Farmers' Markets (& coming in June to Central Farmers' Market on Central and Northern!).
GARDEN-SITTING
Let's face it - friends & neighbors may or may not know how to take care of your prized garden plants when you have to be away from them. Maybe you have a thriving vegetable patch, or a gorgeous desert landscape that is facing a rough summer without a set of well-trained eyes to see when summer stresses are taking a toll, or when pests have moved in while you were out...
We don't do mow & blows, we don't use chemicals, and we won't hack at anything with a motorized garden tool. What we WILL do is treat your garden as our own while you're gone, be it for a week or for six months. We'll email reports and take pictures of the garden's progress so that you won't miss the action. We'll check for pests and stress; monitor irrigation; pull weeds; fertilize and carefully hand-prune as needed. If something goes wrong, we'll be in touch ASAP and figure out a solution with you (or without you, if you'd prefer!).

GROWING CONSULTATION
Don't know where to start in growing vegetables in our unique Sonoran Desert climate? The good news is that here in the Valley, we can grow food all year round - you just have to know what to plant and when. We can help! We offer years of experience growing seasonal produce for a thriving 150-member CSA out of Mesa, AZ. We know how to grow veggies in the desert, and we can help you start growing your own, right in your backyard!
We also offer xeriscape plant installation and mentoring from a Certified Desert Landscaper and horticultural aide at Desert Botanical Gardens. A yard full of sun and rocks doesn't have to be daunting... Let us help you figure out which desert-adapted plants will thrive and bring beauty to YOUR particular microclimate!
